Weekly Photo Challenge : (not) Abondaned

This week on Weekly Photo Challenge ask us to take some photos that will tell other about something “Abandoned” than publish it at our own wordpress blog. This week I will show you photos of my experience when I visiting the exvolcano mountain called Merapi in Jogjakarta.

These photos was taken on December 2013 (last year), captured in ExVolcano Mountain (Merapi) in Jogjakarta when I was there for picnic with teachers of SMA 1 Pekalongan. After the volcano eruption in 2010 the villages near of  the mountain became level to the ground and full covered by the sand from the eruption.

That was happened when the volcano eruption in 2010, but nowadays the ex of volcano spot becoming a new tourism destination in Jogjakarta. When you there, you should try to ride the Willys Jeep, Willys it self known as the american car brand, if you would, you could drive the Willys by your self.  Another option you could ride the motobike (mototrail) that had another track with the Willys. The valcano tourism I called this spot, here also had a uniqe museum that will show you the leaving of the memorable treasure of villager such of complete bones of cow, burned bike, and many other melted things away.

the photos below will show you the rest of the leaving things after the volcanon exploded in 2006, photos below taken in a small musem called “Museum Sisah Hartaku” (The Rest of My Wealth Museum) this museum is one of the destination in Merapi Mountain volcano tourism spot. (click for larger view)
