Weekly Photo Challenge : Threes | Pekalongan International Batik Carnival

Here are three photos that will tell a story to answer the challenge of wordpress at the dailypost blog.

These photos were taken last year ago on October 10, 2013 in Pekalongan Batik Carnival event which is one of a series of events the International Pekalongan Batik Week . International Pekalongan Batik Week itself has become a regular event organized by the city of Pekalongan government that since started since few year ago.  This year is the second year I participated capturing this moment in photographs .

Well , now this is the story from the photo.  The first photo is a photo when the carnival participants followed the fashion show , they are my students , they looke beatiful aren’t they ? the black dress one is my student exchange from Belgium and now studying at my school in Pekalongan. While the second photo is a picture after the carnival begins , taken at start line than they walked to the finish spot. The third photo is a photo of one of my students when asked to take a picture with cadets from the police academy .

ps : come to Pekalongan on September – October so you could see the Pekalongan International Batik Carnival, Pekalongan is one of the bigest city in Central Java, Indonesia.

      • I love Red Pencil Thursdays! ;o) It is often difficult to get everything into those first 500 words. I agree, dirt is better than sap — sap is usually quite sticky. I like the changes you made per Mia’s suggestions. I also agree that we needed her age early on. I also like the rewrite about the gifts. I also am disliking the gang of heathens picking on this young girl.
